Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success.

"What is the meaning of life? To be happy and useful." ~ Dalai Lama

Success is something that most of us want. But we want happiness, too.

I think we're in these two important things in the wrong way. With a few simple changes, I believe that anyone can become happy and successful time.

Classic Hits

A man is not satisfied with his life, he wants to become a success, and therefore happy.

So looking for a millionaire. The millionaire boss is the CEO of a Fortune 500. It has luxury cars, many goods and most importantly, a large mansion.

Your company is the leader in its sector. It is safe to say that this is a classic success.

Call the first man and the millionaire Richard Cody.

Cody asks Richard "How can I get it?"

"Walk to the beach with me," says Richard. "I'll teach you the secret of success."

He accepts and starts the sand. Richard continues to walk towards the ocean. Cody is a bit confusing, but it continues.

The water is now at the height of your shoulders. Richard turns and pulls Cody diving.

Cody is terrified.

It stirred frantically. He scratches. Patea. Richard befriend. It uses every bit of his strength in trying to get this man off.

But no use.

His second go. He wants. He asks. He fought even harder.

But it is increasingly vertigo. He knows it's over. He looks out of the water a final time ...

But it is above the water. Richard came out.

Cody pants for the water from the air and spitting. "What ... what was that?" He yells.

"To be successful," said Richard, "you need to want success you want to breathe."

Breathlessness

This story is for those who have obtained great achievements-the people who want to do great things. Often admire these people. You can even become like Richard.

That was my philosophy, too. In fact, this story has inspired me more than anything I had ever heard. Constantly thinking about it, trying to apply it to my life.

And it worked. The harder I tried, and I went through the pain, the more I came to succeed. My notes because I studied late into the night. My website traffic improved because I obsessed about getting links. My writing has improved because I spent weeks on a pole.

The harder I worked and stressed, more positive feedback I received. People told me they were proud of the way it was taken.

But in the back of my mind, I could not shake that something was wrong. I sacrificed too. My physical and mental health collapsed with my relationships. I had a huge amount of stress. Life and its little pleasures slipped away from me.

It was the summer holidays, and I had not yet gone to the pool. I could not sleep because I thought it was successful. He was often hostile to people who felt wasting my time.

These behaviors are obviously not good, not for my happiness or the people around me. But I would like to quote: "To be successful, sacrifices must be made."

And once you become successful I would be happy, right?

Transformation

"Let go of the idea that gentle, relaxed people can not be superachievers."

On the bright path that followed the title, Richard Carlson, author of Do not sweat the small stuff, explained that there are only happy and relaxed people with success, happiness and peace can lead to success.

It was like a nuclear bomb went off in my brain. A reading minutes showed me that conventional tactical success was wrong.

Horribly wrong.

So let me get this straight: If I am happy and at peace, it will help me succeed? In other words, looking at the clouds can help me achieve my dreams?

I had to try myself.

Peaceful efficiency

I started to learn and apply smart habits. I started to wake up early and let go of expectations and goals (rather, doing what I love). I started reading for pleasure again (not just textbooks), I strengthened my body, I started running, I started eating natural (rather than vending machines), and I focused on my family.

I became happy and peaceful. Instead of dreading the day, I woke up excited to start.

And a strange thing happened:

My happiness has led to greater efficiency. I worked less, more fun and get more done.

I am at peace, however, I am more fulfilled than ever. I work less and accomplish more. My mind is clear and I am full of energy. My job is now full of passion. I do not work for success; I do it because I love the work. In a short period of passionate work, I can not do more than usual day.

And if I can do something fun, I do. My life is happier and I return to my dreams fresher than ever.

I used to insist on every word I wrote. Now I leave my workflow. I always do my best, but I'm not trying to be perfect. In fact, I published my writings. And my writing has become better now they have left obsessed with success.

My grades have also improved. Now I relax and try to enjoy the class. I did not learn because of the notes, but to learn, and it has improved my skills. I gave up trying to succeed in school, and that led to a better chance of success.

Stress is no longer an important part of my life. Enormous problems that seemed insurmountable and are now much easier. Change a person concerned about the success and trying too hard has made all the difference. Now just flow, and everything seems possible.

How to become happy and successful

What is success? I used to love. Now I have succeeded. When I'm happy, it makes me successful.

And leaving aside the success that I promoted my chances of getting what people usually think of as success.

So instead of focusing on success, forget it. Do your best and have fun. Enjoy life and go further.

Using Fitness to Find Happiness

Use fitness to become happier. Science backs up the premise that regular exercise actually boosts your mood and makes you a more joyful person. When you workout intensely, physiological changes take place in your body that increase a feeling of happiness.

Cortisol and Happiness

When you are stressed out, feel frustrated, suffer from fears, have anxieties or get angry, your body reacts by producing cortisol. Cortisol is a hormone that damages the body’s organs over time. When you exercise intensely, you decrease the cortisol amounts in your body, leading to greater health and happiness.

Feeling Good with Endorphins

Another powerful reaction of the body to exercise is the release of endorphins. Endorphins stimulate the brain and numb pain. They create feelings of elation and contentment. They lower your stress. If you want to feel happier, exercise!

Using Fitness to Feel Better

Although any amount of exercise is better than no exercise, if you want to use fitness to feel happier, be sure to integrate activities that increase your heart rate. The positive chemical changes leading to greater happiness are more likely to take place if you engage in activities such as heavy weightlifting, running, jogging, swimming, cycling and any activity that challenges you on a cardiovascular level.
Studies show that exercising regularly for about two weeks creates these chemical changes on a regular basis, causing you to crave exercise. When you are first starting out with exercise or getting back into it after weeks of downtime, remember that the first couple of weeks might be hard. After that, your motivation will naturally increase.

Green Exercise and Happiness

When using fitness to increase your happiness level, choose activities that you enjoy. If doing the same routine at the gym is boring, try green exercise. Green exercise is any physical activity performed outdoors. Cycling through a hilly location, hiking through a trail or even doing strenuous gardening work in your backyard are all examples of green exercise.
The impact of green exercise is that it involves and enlivens all of your senses. The sound of crashing waves while running on a beach, the view of greenery while jogging or the scent of beautiful flowers while riding your bike can all contribute to increasing your sense of inner calm.

Working Out with Others

Fitness activities can also create greater happiness by increasing your interaction with others. Training for a marathon with a friend, playing on a company soccer team or going to the gym several times a week with a close relative are all ways to get both the physiological and emotional benefits of regular fitness activities.
Using fitness to feel more joy in your life is an effective strategy. Choose fitness activities that you enjoy and do them with people you love. Mix things up as much as possible. Variety helps to increase enjoyment. Give yourself at least two weeks to get hooked on exercise and to experience the chemical benefits. Exercise outdoors from time to time to let your senses experience natural beauty.

When One Door Closes, Another Door Opens

“When one door closes, another door opens, but we so often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door, that we do not see the ones which open for us.”
- Alexander Graham Bell -
“When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one, which has been opened for us.”- Helen Keller -
These two quotes are so true! Read them again, they both say:

When one door closes another door opens.

Most people are too attached to the past, to what they are familiar with, and therefore, miss opportunities that stand right in front of them.
Doors may close, but there are always, other, unlimited number of doors – new opportunities. The world is full of opportunities, if we could only see them. The Infinite Power is boundless, and so the possibilities are without number.
Not every plan works out. Sometimes, there are losses and failures. Sometimes, there are problems in relationships. Sometimes, people lose their money or job, or meet other unpleasant things.
We don’t always have control over these events, but we can exercise control over our mind and attitude. When one of these things happens, and we focus our attention on the loss – the closed door, we see only a closed door with the resultant frustration and unhappiness.
If we could only move our sight and attention away from the closed door, we might be surprised to discover new, open doors.
It might not be so easy to move our eyes elsewhere, due to attachment to the old and familiar, and fear of the new and the unknown.
If you find it difficult to stop the uncontrolled flow of negative thoughts, your mind would keep focusing on the loss, failure and frustration - the door is closed. Would these thoughts help you in any way, or they will create suffering and prevent change and improvement?
You can agree with what is said here, but how can you free yourself from past attachments and see the new opportunities? How can you resolve to do, and enter the new doors that open for you?
To participate, you must make an effort:
You'll need to be more aware of your thoughts.
Desire to be free of thoughts that keep you stuck in one place.
Develop a degree of self-discipline.
Develop some degree of ability and control your mind concentration.
Enjoy the power of affirmations and visualization.
A degree of inner peace would also help. It will help you to reject unwanted, negative thoughts, and become more open, positive and happy. When your mind it in peace, it would be easier for you to detach yourself from the past, keep an open mind, and therefore see more clearly the new doors that open for you.
Remember, when one door closes another opens.
